UASUSA designs, develops, and manufactures UAS platforms for the emerging market in the US and around the world. We offer service from the simplest airframe manufacture to the more complex and complete UAS. Our customers mission criteria, coupled with our extensive composite small airframe background, allows UASUSA to offer the least expensive, most efficient, rapid turnaround, mission ready platforms available. Our focus is Unmanned Aircraft Platforms (UAP's) and are typically optimized for flying 0-3000 feet. One of our UASUSA customers using the TEMPEST UAP , recently achieved a very successful mission with flights exceeding upward of 10.8 miles above the surface of the earth..... and returned safely to the launch site 38 miles upwind. The TEMPEST platform was designed and developed in conjunction with the University of Colorado Aerospace Engineering department with it's mission criteria for use in Vortex 2 Tornado Research Study. The TEMPEST can be customized to your specifications and use. It can carry a payload up to 10 lbs with flight times of approximately 1 hour using our standard electric propulsion system.
